Our Karkara Kids have fun developing self-esteem, self-control and life skills while learning the very unique Brazilian Martial Art of capoeira.
Our active, fun, and structured after school not only teaches self-defense, acrobatics, music, dance, language and culture, but also; respect, self-control, courage, self-confidence, leadership skills, physical coordination and balance.

What to Expect:

A typical day will include: instruction in one or more of the following areas: capoeira martial arts techniques, acrobatics, music, dance, kids yoga, Portuguese, organized games/exercises, and time for snack and homework.

We offer:

• Trained, enthusiastic and caring staff
• Transportation from area schools
• Full day for most school holidays included in the monthly fee
• Daily Capoeira classes and organized physical and cultural enrichment activities
• Homework time
• Also Offering Summer Camp | Spring Camps | Thanksgiving Break Camp

Low monthly rate includes full day camp on many no-school days

Time:
School release until 6 pm.

We will eliminate some of the worry from your workday. We transport the children from their schools and deliver them safely to our school for an afternoon of fun, learning and capoeira!

We are not a daycare, we are much more. Your child will have a blast while receiving top quality training in martial arts, music, acrobatics, Brazilian language, culture and yoga. Don’t be surprised to see attitude and behavior changes at home and in school as your child learns the value of respect and self-discipline and is given a daily opportunity to “get out that extra energy” in a positive way.

Your child will not only learn tons of capoeira, but also our After School program enriches our children’s lives culturally and helps them in school and at home with better confidence, communication and focus.

Your child will be picked up from school and transported safely to our academy for an afternoon of fun, games, classes and, of course, homework! We pride ourselves on the excellent supervision we provide and our curriculum that teaches kids to become stronger not only physically but socially, emotionally and culturally as well! Madison has had a long history of being asked to leave schools due to her poor behavior.  When she started Capoeira she also started school number 12.  I hate to admit that I had little expectation that her behavior would change so I immediately planned a meeting with her teachers and ESE coordinator.
